While I have also clutched the internet to my girthy bosom quite closely (while still giving the smoldering 1000 yard stare to any print journal with a budget and a good come-on) I have also decided the mediums of live performance, radio and video MUST be given equal credence and priority in my mission to get my poetry out to as many welcome ears as it can possibly find. In that spirit, I’ve got two big radio appearences coming up.

First up, Sunday, February 14th (Valentine’s Day) on LilyCat Radio – part of FCC Free Radio 12 PM – 2 PM PST with the brilliant and fabulous Melinda Adams hosting.

Next up, an hour long feature debuting on the Karl Koweski’s Zygote in My Radio, Saturday February 20th at 10 PM PST.

And the infiltration continues.

Also participating in the event were the super talented stylings of Eddie Wright, Meghan Thornton, Lauren Becker, Missy Church, Peg Alford Pursell, Tess Patalano, MG Martin, Anna Reed, Eugenia E. Gratto and a knockout story about Disney’s Red Queen from Alia Volz, in addition to the aforementioned hosts Ms. Chauhan and Mr. Karp adding their brilliance to the storytelling.

The inaugural reading took place at the Cantina on 580 Bush Street, one of those old SF hole in the wall watering houses that become much darker and more labyrinthine once you go inside. The next Quiet Lightning reading will take place Monday, January 25th at Elixir in SF’s Mission District.
